USM Outslugs Privateers

After scoring only four runs in their three-game series over the weekend against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, the Privateers (8-18) unleashed a 13-hit, seven-run outing against USM on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, they allowed nine runs in a 9-7 defeat at Maestri Field.

Samuel Capielano maintained his team-leading average with a two-hit, three-RBI performance to lead the New Orleans attack.
