UNO Nipped at TAMU-CC in Rematch

A Rashawn Thomas three-point play with five seconds left gave Texas A&M Corpus Christi a 55-53 victory over the Privateers (7-14, 3-9) on the road.

Thomas led the Islanders with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and six blocks in a dominant performance. Christavious Gill led the way for UNO with 13 points, and backcourt mate Kevin Brown added 12.

New Orleans returns home to battle Northwestern State this Saturday. Tip at Lakefront Arena will be at approximately 6:15 p.m.
