Ball State Pulls Away Late in Win

Ball State opened up a two-point halftime lead and pulled away late, besting the Privateers in a non-conference contest on Saturday afternoon in Indiana.

New Orleans shot just 35% after shooting 33% earlier in the week at Tulane. After a scoreless first half, Christavious Gill shot just 4-for-10 but was UNO's only double-digit scorer with 12 points. Travin Thibodeaux led the Bucs with 7 rebounds to go along with 8 points.

UNO returns home to Lakefront Arena next Saturday for a tune-up against Williams Baptist before returning to Division I competition.
