3-0 Start: Baseball Beats La. Tech

Dean's first Division I
homer in the 7th
The Privateer baseball team hit a total of eight home runs and seven triples last year.  Through three games in the 2016 season, New Orleans already has four of each, and they came in key spots in Sunday's 9-6 victory over Louisiana Tech.

The Privateers (3-0) fell behind 1-0 before scoring three runs in the third, powered by RBI triples from returnees Preston Marsh -- who had four total hits on the day -- and Chaz Boyer.  In the fourth, UNO got two more runs courtesy of Kyle Bracey's first career homer.  After another three runs in the sixth, Dakota Dean blasted his first career homer in the seventh to cap the scoring for the Bucs.
