Losing Skid Continues

Thomas was a nonfactor
for once, but Bucs still lost
After woeful defensive efforts at Central Arkansas and McNeese, the Privateers (8-15, 4-8) were unable to bounce back at home tonight against conference contender Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. New Orleans fell 65-57 in the Monday night contest.

UNO fell behind early, and despite holding Islander powerhouse Rashawn Thomas in check, hung around but never really recovered. They were led by Michael Zeno with 12 points.

The Privateers will now head back on the road for a Saturday battle at Northwestern State.
