Tulsa Steamrolls UNO Early, Holds On

G Troy Green
Tulsa's stifling defense did a number on the visiting Privateers (4-4) most of the night, though New Orleans kept fighting in a 70-60 loss.

UNO trailed 41-21 at the half and fell behind by as many as 28, but a 15-1 run got the road team marginally back in the game.  The Golden Hurricane, though, reestablished control and ultimately still won comfortably.

Privateer leading scorer Ezekiel Charles was held scoreless on the evening, missing all six of his shot attempts. Bryson Robinson tried to pick up some of that long distance slack, draining three three-pointers and finishing with 11 points. Sophomore guard Troy Green played his most aggressive game of the season, leading the team with 19.

UNO returns home, sort of, on December 18 with a game at the Alario Center against Williams Baptist.
