Privateer Memories: UNO Tops USL in 1990

In Tim Floyd's second year, New Orleans recovered from a 2-7 start to finish with a 21-11 record and an NIT berth.  Key to that recovery was this American South Conference opener in the Cajundome against the USL Ragin' Cajuns, which ended in a thrilling 89-87 Privateers victory.

Tony Harris, having suffered a broken wrist in the previous game against Tulane, wasn't supposed to play.  Turns out, he did.
