Privateers Add Guard Kevin Brown From ULL

New Orleans' talented, but young, backcourt got an infusion of experience today as graduate-transfer Kevin Brown has committed to play his final season for Coach Sless and the Privateers, according to a report on twitter by Joshua E. Parrott.

Brown appeared in a team-high 35 games (starting 13) for the Cajuns this past season. He averaged 5.5 points in just under 21 minutes per game. His 41 assists ranked third on the team, and his 35 made three-pointers ranked second. In the Cajuns NCAA Tournament loss to Creighton, Brown scored seven points on 3-for-4 shooting in 20 minutes. Against South Alabama on January 16th, he scored a season-high 14 points, making 4-of-5 from behind the arc.

Brown missed most of his sophomore season at ULL after suffering a broken foot. His freshman season was spent across town at Tulane, where he averaged 1.3 points in just over six minutes a game, appearing in 18 games.
