Rally Falls Short vs. NW State

Myers had a double-double
They woke up late, but the Privateers (6-15, 2-9) dug too deep a hole in their 82-74 loss to Northwestern State at Lakefront Arena.

New Orleans trailed by 18 in the first half and as many as 23 in the second before rallying to within 7 with approximately four minutes left.  But the comeback fell short as UNO ran out of gas late, dropping its fourth in a row.

Jahmel Myers led the Privateer scoring with 18 to go along with 12 rebounds, and Bryson Robinson added 15.  Gerrale Gates had one of his better offensive performances of the season with 13.

UNO has six of its remaining nine games on the road, and that run starts in Hammond on Saturday with a game at Southeastern Louisiana.
