SFA Pulls Away From UNO

Bryson Robinson's 31 wasn't
nearly enough against SFA0j
Stephen F. Austin began the second half with a 13-1 run to break open a close game and rout host New Orleans 87-68 at Lakefront Arena.

SFA, who you may have heard beat Duke, led just 34-32 at the break against a shorthanded but spirited Privateer team.  But the layups and easy buckets started to come much easier against UNO, a team increasingly decimated by injuries.  Jaylen Key joined that list during the game, and Ahren Freeman was the latest not to dress out at all.

Bryson Robinson led his depleted crew with 31 points, and Jahmel Myers added 10.

What's left of the Privateers will stay at home and take on Central Arkansas on Wednesday.
