SLU scored 60 points in the second frame to erase a nine-point halftime deficit. They shot 63% in the last 20 minutes and got into the lane at will, overcoming a Privateer offense led by Jordan Johnson's 27 points and seven three pointers. Simeon Kirkland added 16 points and 11 rebounds for another double double for New Orleans (6-13, 3-5). Each team had four scorers in double digits.
A rematch will take place on Saturday afternoon at Lakefront Arena.
