Privateers Bomb Southeastern

Bryson Robinson
With leading scorer Ezekiel Charles out for the season, the Privateers found other ways to score from long distance, draining 14 three-pointers in Wednesday night's 89-68 blowout over Southeastern Louisiana at Lakefront Arena.

Improbably, UNO (15-10, 10-4) shot 14-for-23 from deep in the lopsided victory, and 60% from the field overall.  Leading 44-31 at the half, they scored the first seven points of the second half to send the message that this game wasn't going to tighten up, and it quickly became a runaway.

Bryson Robinson led the way with 23 points and five threes, and Jorge Rosa added 18 on six threes.  Even Scott Plaisance drilled one and added 15 points overall.

UNO will head to McNeese on Saturday afternoon for its next game.
